Eden House
Nestled within the leafy setting of Hampstead, this residential development introduces six carefully designed apartments that aim to blend with its surroundings. Set back from the street and enveloped by mature trees and dense planting, the scheme offers privacy, tranquillity, while remaining sensitive to the site.
Spread across three storeys, the apartments feature dual aspect layouts, open-plan living spaces that connect seamlessly to private gardens or terraces. The architecture takes inspiration from the character of the local area, with cream-toned brickwork, cast stone detailing, and green pigmented cladding that helps the building sit quietly within the landscape.
Using a fabric-first approach the units will maximise energy efficiency through high-quality insulation, airtight construction and considered orientation. The homes will be fitted with MVHR which will provide fresh, filtered air and minimise heat loss. Designed as lifetime homes, provisions have been made for solar panels, air source heat pumps, green roofs, and EV charging. Rainwater is collected as part of a sustainable drainage system, while landscaping is designed to boost biodiversity and connect with the natural setting.
